The key to unique quality lies in our production process, animal welfare, and sustainability. The majority of Uruguayan cattle comes from 100% Black Angus, which is raised on free pasture and the last 160 to 220 days on grain, providing a balanced and nutritious fat level. The narrow beef is a classic, renowned for its excellent flavor, good marbling, and just the right amount of fat covering. This cut is best enjoyed preferably grilled or pan-seared as steaks.

The title says it all.
I friend turned me on to these guys so I went to their warehouse and bought it directly out of their on hand stock. The family running it is super helpful and friendly. They even served us up some of their fresh (and hot out of the oven!) in-house made sausages as well as some dry cuts that were exquisite.
My son got in his mind that he wanted to experiment and make duck. Okay! Where do I go find duck? Most places around us do not carry it…but in our search we discovered cordobes foods. Wow!! As the co-owner explained to us on our walk in…it is the “speakeasy of meats”. They are a family owned butcher shop and Nico (who was helping us today) is a 7th generation Argentinian butcher. If you are looking for steaks, seafood, pork, duck…anything! Amazing selection and incredible service!!
Great purchase. Love taste, textire and ability to cut into my size steaks
Who knew when I went looking for a local shop to buy weisswurst that I would find this amazing treasure of a meat market?! From my initial contact with Valentina on the phone, to the best customer service I have experienced in years, and culminating in some of the most flavorful and exceptional meat products available, I can't recommend Cordobes Foods highly enough. While you can always purchase online (and I suggest you do if you are unable to go them), the in-person experience is unparalleled. Valentina and her mother provided samples of a variety of products, explained the differences in flavor between grain-fed, grass-fed, and grass-fed/grain finished meats, and introduced me to new taste experiences. Sausages are made in-house and represent a wide variety of cultures. They carry an extensive selection of products and will even take the time and energy to find hard-to-find items for customers with specific requests. Give them a try--you absolutely won't be disappointed!
Wow. I ordered to try and see if flavors were there and to my surprise it was everything the i was hoping for .
Really good flavor and tenderness, little trip to Uruguayan meat flavors and quality i had shared with some of my family and friends and they all agree some of the best they have here in the US. I ll give a try to the whole lamb they have from Uruguay on my next purchase.
