The majority of Uruguayan cattle comes from 100% Black Angus, which is raised on free pasture and the last 160 to 220 days on grain, providing a balanced and nutritious fat level. This cut is one of the most requested and sought after, thanks to its excellent fat content that gives it juiciness and tenderness when cooked. It is best enjoyed grilled, oven-roasted as roast beef, or pan-seared as steaks.

As a steak connoisseur, I can confidently say there is no mainstream program in the United States that can produce a taste like the Uruguayan Beef. The flavor is so robust. With that being said, it is not the best I’ve had, but it would’ve been if it were marbled more. I look forward to purchasing more.

This reminds me of what we had growing up 50 years ago in Kentucky , grain fed , well marbled meat that had flavor , real flavor , the cost is comparable to anything you’d get local , I thaw these and get four steaks , that’s comparable to Costco on price with 10x better flavor .
