The key to unique quality lies in our production process, animal welfare, and sustainability. The majority of Uruguayan cattle comes from 100% Black Angus, which is raised on free pasture and the last 160 to 220 days on grain, providing a balanced and nutritious fat level. This cut is one of the most requested and sought after, thanks to its excellent fat content that gives it juiciness and tenderness when cooked. It is best enjoyed grilled, oven-roasted as roast beef, or pan-seared as steaks.

As the title says, you owe it to yourself to go over to Cordobes Foods if you are in the area. Holy crap, the amount of top-quality choices you have is amazing. But most of all, the warmth and personal connection made with Valen and Carlos is what made Cordobes foods my only choice for anything I need for an incredible meal.
And yes, the Uruguayan Rib Eye was sublime!

I let thaw 1/2 way then cut into 3 steaks, then refroze.
I wish everything would be marked with contents and weight. You sell by weight I would like to see weight.
With an upcoming staycation on the radar, I decided to treat myself and cook a ribeye roast on the rotisserie, but unfortunately, I didn't plan ahead and most stores I came across required ordering 24-48 hours in advance. I stumbled upon Cordobes Foods during my search, contacted them, and drove over to their Longmont location. They have an amazing assortment of products, and I ended up coming home with more than just the roast. But while the products were of great quality, the family running this business were so friendly and kind; it was such a pleasure to speak with them and hear their story, and it was obvious that they cared deeply about the business, product quality, and their customers; this was not simply a transaction to be made!
The "Cordobes Foods approach" resonated with me greatly and I will be returning for more items the first chance I get.
