The majority of Uruguayan cattle comes from 100% Black Angus, which is raised on free pasture and the last 160 to 220 days on grain, providing a balanced and nutritious fat level. A classic for everyday dining, its tender nature allows it to be prepared in various ways, from raclette and roast tenderloin to fillets and hearty stews.
I decided to splurge, and it was not worth it. The meat was flavorless. I have gotten filet at local store that was much better. I am sorry, but a lot of money spent for a low rate product. Very disappointed!
